Splitting HPLC Flow Using Mirco-Splitter Valves

In some LC-MS Systems and other applications there is a need to split the flow to two channels in some regular proportion where a 'T' is not feasible.  In this case, there are a few good solutions from Upchurch Scientific.

Valves such as P/N P-460S are rated for a maximum of 4,000 psi and split the flow between a MS detector or other device and waste.  For capillary tubing, P/N M-405S is an option.

For applications where it is desirable to 'calibrate' the flow at different pressures, a graduated valve is available.  P/N P-470 offers a solution for splitting flow at repeatable settings for different methods.

Several medium pressure valves are available at lower cost for applications up to 800 psi.

All Micro-Splitter valves are tested at flow rates to 100mL/min with a maximum resulting pressure drop of 45 psi.
